What is Club 88?

Club 88 is a minibus service supported by Suffolk County Council and operated by Optua.If you are having difficulty getting where you want via scheduled bus or train services Club 88 travels between villages shown and Needham Market. Club 88 stops on request at the Needham Market Country Practice.

What does the service do?

Club 88 connects with services at Needham Market enabling further travel. However, you can also use Club 88 to visit neighbouring villages. Club 88 is membership based but there are no fees involved. Anyone can join!

How do I book my journey?

Once you have become a member you can book your return journeys and arrange collectionand set-down points by calling us on 01449 616000. The booking office is open from 8am until 1pm Monday to Saturday. Bookings will be taken on a first come, first served basis.

How do I become a member?

To register as a member of Club 88 simply call the Optua Community Transport enquiry and booking line on 01449 616000. A Club 88 membership card will then be issued.
