Ipswich - Roadwork - Princes Street and Queen Street loop

From February 14th there will be road works on the Princes Street and Queens Street loop.  The road works are expected to last up to 26 weeks.

As a result of this buses will be unable to enter into Princes Street (northbound) at the junction with Museum Street and Friars Street and therefore no longer have access to Queens Street (outside the Britannia Building Society). The alternative route will be for buses to continue along Friars Street towards Tacket Street. In addition to the existing stop here, there will be a temporary bus stop along Friars Street, between the junction of Coytes Gardens and Queen Street, approaching the traffic lights.

In order to avoid the Queen Street stop, the Park and Ride service between Martlesham and London Road will continue as now along Museum Street, but turn right into Princes Street and stop outside the Willis building. Other Park and Ride services will be un-affected. For more Park & Ride information please click here
