The school bus pass
Suffolk County Council’s policy requires all users of home-to-school/college transport to provide a passport sized colour photograph to be incorporated into the travel pass. This applies to everyone who receives mainstream assisted home-to-school/college transport regardless of age or entitlement. The travel pass can only be printed with the pupil’s/student’s legal name – “known as” names may not be used.
- Holders of an existing photo-style home-to-school/college travel pass can opt to use their existing travel pass photo on the 09/10 year’s pass, providing it is still a good likeness.
- Explore card holders can opt to use their existing Explore card photo on their home-to-school/college travel pass, providing again that it is still a good likeness.
- If neither of these two options apply or the current photo isn’t a good likeness then a recent passport style photo would have to be supplied.
