Suffolk Links Buzabout Wherstead Road extension

Suffolk Links Buzabout is a flexible passenger transport service that can take you to and from Ipswich on a Friday and Saturday night. The vehicle is a minibus which can take wheelchair users. It is managed by Suffolk ACRE and funded by Suffolk County Council and Ipswich Borough Council. This service is being run on a trial basis until 30th June 2012.

Where can I travel?

The minibus can pick you up from any of the bus stops on Wherstead Road serving the stops between Bourne Bridge and Rapier Street roundabout, including the Hawes Street (outbound - heading towards Bourne Bridge) bus stop. It can drop you off at Cardinal Park, the Old Cattle Market Bus Station, Ipswich Railway Station, the Waterfront and Princes Street.

When can I travel?

The service runs on Friday evenings and Saturday evenings only, between 1900 and 0000 (excluding Bank Holidays).

What will it cost?

A flat fare of £2 per single passenger journey. Sorry - no concessions are available.

How do I book my journey?

Simply call 0845 458 1920. All journeys must be booked in advance.

The booking line will be open from 0900 to 1600 Wednesday to Friday. To avoid disappointment please book at least 24 hours in advance. The service operates on a first come first served basis and all travel is subject to availability. It is helpful if passengers can be flexible with their travel timings to fit in with any other pre-booked journeys.
