Katch is Back!

East Suffolk Council has relaunched the Katch demand responsive community bus service which carries passengers between Framlingham, Wickham Market, Campsea Ashe and Snape.

The service will be operated by Coastal Accessible Transport Services (CATS) www.cats-paws.co.uk who operate in the surrounding areas and can connect users to a variety of East Suffolk destinations beyond the Katch route.  The 11 seat minibus can take one wheelchair and currently the service can be booked by phone Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm on 01782 635 939 or via an online booking form at www.katchalift.com. An app will be launched in the near future. Regular users will benefit from a loyalty card and get their 7th journey free, while young people (16-19 years) presenting a free Endeavour Card will get a discount on their journey https://endeavour.suffolkonboard.com/.

The service runs from 7.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday, from 10.00am to 6.30pm on Saturdays, and from 10.00am to 6.00pm on bank holidays (except Christmas and Boxing Days), with stops in Framlingham, Parham, Hacheston, Wickham Market, Campsea Ashe, Tunstall and Snape. Further information, including fares, can be found on the Katch website www.katchalift.com.

Katch, and its future beyond this 12-month pilot scheme, depends entirely upon passenger uptake, so why not Katch a lift and support your community transport?
